A/Professor Katie Wynne is a Staff Specialist in Endocrinology & Diabetes at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle; Clinical Chair of the Hunter Medical Research Institute ‘Equity in Health and Wellbeing’ program; and Program Convenor for the Joint Medical Program, University of New England and University of Newcastle, New South Wales. A/Professor Wynne graduated from Cambridge University and Kings College London. She holds a PhD from University of London. She has a sub-speciality interest in transgender medicine, is on the AusPATH Executive Committee, the NSW Clinical Advisory board and Pathology Working Party, and is the subject matter expert for the NSW HealthPathways for transgender health.
